Balzer 71 Grad Nord

Powerful Fixed Spool Reels for Sea Fishing

The Balzer 71 Grad North are robust fixed spool reels built specifically for saltwater use. They are constructed to handle the demands of the sea, featuring a heavy-duty stainless steel axle, high drag forces of 12 and 13 kg respectively, and a screw-in aluminium power handle that can be fitted on either side. Two models are available: the lighter one is ideally suited to fishing for coalfish and pollack, while the stronger model handles larger sea predators. Both are ideal for pirk fishing and fishing with soft lures in Norway.

Suited to Left- and Right-Handed Anglers

The Balzer 71 Grad North are workhorses designed for comfortable, reliable performance. 6 precision ball bearings and 1 needle bearing ensure smooth operation, while the Anti Swing System (A.S.S.) reduces rotor wobble and the Quick-Stop System (Q.S.S.) brings the rotor to an instant halt when needed. The finely adjustable front drag system (F.D.S.) uses oversized drag washers for consistent and powerful braking, and the S-Cam system takes care of neat, even line lay. An anti-twist line roller keeps your line in good condition over the long term. The handle can be mounted on either side, making these reels suitable for both left- and right-handed anglers.
