Realistic Shad with Extra Rattle Hole
The Balzer Fake Shad is a soft lure available in 3 sizes, built around a highly realistic design featuring a lifelike fish shape and well-defined fins. The colour schemes are eye-catching, with some finishes developed exclusively for the Fake Shad. On top of the detailed bodywork and colour, it carries striking reptile eyes that give predators a clear point of attack. That instinct to strike is further triggered by the lure's aggressive, rolling action - driven in part by the pronounced ventral fins. Straight out of the packet, it's a tough proposition for pike and zander, but you can push things further with a simple bit of sound tuning. Behind the ventral fins sits a dedicated hole where you can fit a rattle, adding extra stimulus that can make all the difference on a tough day. Thanks to its durable rubber compound, the Fake Shad holds up well to repeated predator attacks, even from hard-hitting pike.
