The New Kauli
Some 15 years after the original, the Balzer Shirasu Kauli 2.0 brings a thoroughly updated version of Jörg Strehlow's zander classic to the water. Every bit as effective as its predecessor, it now features a refined yet still very slender profile that works brilliantly for zander and perch. The surface has changed too: the lure is now coated in a soft epoxy lacquer that gives it a particularly glossy, smart finish. Where the eyes were once painted on, they are now UV-active reptile eyes that add that final touch of realism. Available in 2 sizes to suit almost any situation, this is an excellent choice whether you're fishing on a jig head or a drop shot rig.

The bait runs well and the rubber compound is great too. Even pikes can't stand up again.
