The Solution by Big L rod series has earned a devoted following well beyond zander fishing. What started as a dedicated zander rod for tock-style fishing has grown into a full, high-quality series built for targeting zander, pike, and perch - developed for both river and lake fishing, from Lake Constance to the Baltic coastal waters. The Solution Micro completes this range as an ultralight rod designed specifically for micro jigging.
The ultralight models in the Solution series span several options, starting at 1.94 m with a casting weight of 0.3-3.5 g and going up to 2.35 m with 3-12 g. This covers the full range from the smallest micro lures through to UL finesse rigs. Whether you're targeting trout, chub, or perch, on a pond, lake, river, ditch, or stream, these rods give the finesse angler the right tool for the job.
When fishing with micro jigs, keeping weight to a minimum is critical - only with genuinely light tackle do you retain full control over the lightest lures. That philosophy has been applied without compromise throughout the Solution Micro, from the handle all the way to the tip.
The 40t Toray carbon blank has long convinced anglers worldwide with its quality, though until now it has only been seen in blanks built for considerably heavier casting weights.
The handle has been slimmed down considerably compared to the Contact series, both to save weight and to maximise the direct contact area with the blank. This means you don't just feel what the lure is doing through your index finger on the blank - the feedback comes through the whole grip.
The reel seat is noticeably slimmer than on other Solution models, yet it holds a size-1000 fixed spool reel securely without any play. The reel stays locked in place even after a long day on the water, so the line feeds cleanly over the rings and bail arm without tangles.

The rings fitted to this blank are Sea Guide - well-regarded in rod-building circles and trusted by builders for years. These USDM rings come from Irvine, California, and hold their own against the ring guides of the finest Japanese manufacturers.

The tip is exceptionally stiff for an ultralight rod, which is rare in this class. The action distributes itself over only the first 40 cm - the first 5 rings including the tip ring - giving you maximum lure control and optimal contact with your lure at all times. The Solution Micro also features the four Glow-In-The-Dark indicators found across the Solution range, giving you reliable visual feedback on tip movement even after dark.

The brief for this rod was clear from the outset: build an outstanding rod for micro jigging for zander and perch, and pursue that goal without compromise. The blank transmits forces efficiently and, via the exposed grip section, feeds that information directly to your arm. Micro jigging demands absolute lure control - casting weights are extremely low, and the pure tip action required for this style of fishing has been executed with precision by the rod builder. Even experienced anglers find the uniquely fast action of these ultralight and superlight spinning rods compelling.

Brilliant stick This year in January (30.01.) I thought I had to close a gap between my SUL rod (0.6 - 2.5g) and my perch tool (2 - 15g) and decided to buy this rod with WG 1-7g. Since the end of the summer season, the stick has been used at least twice a week because it is simply fun. From light spoon fishing (0.9 g) on 3-5 kg trout to rubber fish with 6-7g on 60+ zander to spinning jigs with 8g on 70+ asp, whether still water or river - the stick is convincing. Feedback, sensitivity with astonishing backbone and durability, is something I only know from significantly more expensive rods.

Not bad) Looks good. Lightweight and durable. In my opinion, the handle is a bit long and could be made shorter for 0.4-5 gr. The spool is ideal for 190-200 g with a coil size of 1000-2000. Rings fastened smoothly, high-quality assembly. spinning is sonorous and informative. there is a good safety margin. Together with the spinning, he received two rubber fish as a gift. It's very pleasant. Seller for that special thanks. The overall impression of the spinning rod is good.

Review of the 1-7g rod Mega horny rod I misused it to spoon fishing for trout. But hammer bite keing and top drill characteristics even with 3 g 20 meters thrown. Mega rod only recommended in 1-7 g

Micro 3 - 12g super rod with fine tip. String glides well through the rings and even 3g bait flies very far. The little trout has already been fun

Super rod, comes very far out with baits of 2g. Mine unfortunately broke one too quickly, even on the first throw
