The Bullseye Liquëo Spin is a spinning rod series designed for fixed spool reels - classic spinning rods with a very specific purpose. Nearly three years of development went into this series, with hard lures and vibration baits at the centre of that process. The results speak for themselves: these rods perform at their best with exactly those lure types. Twitchbaits between 8 and 13 cm, medium-sized crankbaits, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits all respond exceptionally well to these blanks. The motto 'Ferus et Mollis' - Latin for 'wild and gentle' - captures the character of the blanks precisely. On one hand, you get the aggressive side: working twitchbaits and jerkbaits hard, cranking crankbaits with authority, and reacting instantly to any fish contact thanks to outstanding feedback. On the other hand, once you're connected, the rod's softer nature takes over. Despite its power, it cushions runs and head-shakes from larger fish with composure and reduces hook pulls to an absolute minimum. This same forgiving quality also comes into play when fishing crankbaits and vibration baits, absorbing those constant vibrations and making the retrieve noticeably more comfortable.

4 Variants to Choose From

The Bullseye Liquëo Spin comes in 4 variants. There is a shorter and a longer option within each of the two available casting weight ranges: 5-21 g and 7-35 g. At 198 cm, the shorter variant is particularly well suited to float tube and kayak fishing, as well as boat use. The longer variant at 213 cm is the go-to choice for bank fishing with hard lures, though it still works well from a boat, kayak or float tube. Ultimately, personal preference plays a significant role here - whether you want to stay under 2 m or prefer the extra 15 cm for additional casting distance is down to you.

The Blank and Components

The Bullseye Liquëo Spin features extremely lightweight blanks with a med-fast action, making them an ideal all-round platform for hard lures. They feel as good on the cast and during the retrieve as they do while playing a fish. Even under full load in the closing stages of a fight with a specimen, you always have that reassuring sense of control. Blank feedback and bite detection are outstanding, and the strike becomes a natural reflex. For the guide train, Bullseye has fitted Fuji KS SS Alconite guides, which support casting performance at a high level and are positioned on the blank for optimal power distribution. The grip uses a split grip with a natural cork foregrip and an EVA rear section. The Fuji VSS 16 reel seat is integrated cleanly into the overall design and delivers an excellent combination of ergonomics and feedback.
