Your New Ultralight Weapon
The Surgeon is Bullseye's logical extension of the successful Cherry Picker into lighter casting weights - the ultralight end of the Bullseye spinning rod range. Featherlight and perfectly balanced, it delivers fantastic feedback and fires even the smallest lures to surprising distances.
Precise as a Swiss Watch
Built for the ambitious ultralight angler, the Surgeon loads up beautifully even with the lightest lures, making it a true UL casting platform. It handles 2 g with ease and, depending on the model, carries lures up to 10 g or 14 g without any fuss. Seven Fuji K SS/SIC guides distribute the load evenly across the full blank. These guides feature an extra-slim SIC insert that provides a comparatively large inner diameter even at very small ring sizes - the Microconcept guide system reduces line friction still further, which translates directly into precise, repeatable casts.

The included case doubles as a rod sleeve for the assembled rod, protecting your Surgeon effectively against scratches and, in the worst case, a broken blank.
The Bullseye Surgeon S198
Short, precise and with excellent feedback, the S198 is the first choice for boat anglers who need accurate, targeted casts. The split-grip design further enhances sensitivity through the full blank.
The Bullseye Surgeon S213
When perch are holding further out, reach for the longer model. The S213 gives bank anglers on a lake the extra range needed to reach distant drop-offs.

No more without plucking when perch I'm straight to the water and was only able to test the stick in the upper third of the water column for now because the fish were visibly active here. I have to say that regardless of whether Popper, Stick, Crank and Twitchbaits works despite other opinions in some forums, it is “more suitable only for finesse fishing”, excellent thanks to the sensitive tip. I didn't have a single dropout and a 60s asp who wanted a small crankbait saved the rod par excellence. That's how it's fun!? Let's see what it feels like when finesse fishing. In any case, I'm already totally excited about the rod action. 12 points go to Switzerland!?

Like all bullseye: A top rod with top action Had scrapped a few UL before because the tip had broken off for me (greetings to the Shimano Diaflash). That's why I was skeptical about spending even more money on a UL rod (The BE is easily twice as expensive) After unpacking, I was immediately reassured because the rod was on a very solid tip and, like all BE, a tip action. I already had the Lucky Luck from BE and both are very similar AND BE has now also added a tag for the bait (always ask me why this is forgotten with such an expensive rod. The few cents don't matter to a buyer in the class anyway)

Just a dream A 1a rod! Highly recommended and worth every single cent! I fish them with a Shimano Vanford and I'm more than thrilled! Once you've fished this way, you'll never want to fish for anything else!

For me, a strong all-rounder on the water! Light as a feather, feels great in the hand and has quite a few reserves in the drill when things get serious.;)
Most often I fish from... Ufer
My favorite target fish is... Barsch
