A System Built to Last

Swedish brand Darts, founded in 1979, has never shaken off the predator fishing bug - and the result is terminal tackle of exceptional quality, including the well-established SBS (Soft Bait System) range.

The SBS Pike Rig Link is Darts' answer to an indestructible shallow rig. Every component is carefully matched to work with the others, and the assembly holds up to even the most extreme loads. The long, stable baitscrew locks your soft lure firmly in place. From there, a split ring connects to a chain of high-quality barrel swivels. Depending on size, a further split ring joins a sharp treble hook, a stinger spike, and an additional swivel chain. The system simply extends as the size increases.

The real advantage over comparable setups lies in that swivel chain. Unlike steel, the swivels cannot kink and snap under pressure. They also give the lure flexibility and a low centre of gravity, which translates into a more stable running action. Additional weights can be attached quickly, letting you adapt to changing conditions on the water without fuss. If you regularly target the biggest fish around, this rig earns its place in your kit.
