DUO Realis Versa Shad

Finesse Swimbait for Slow and Fast Retrieves

The DUO Realis Versa Shad combines a flat side design with a tapered tail to produce a compelling rolling action with plenty of flash. The taper at the tail segment means the paddle tail starts working seductively even at the slowest retrieve speeds. That said, this finesse swimbait handles fast retrieves just as well - a heavier rubber compound in the belly section gives it maximum stability at any speed, so it tracks true even when cranked flat out. asp are particularly drawn to this kind of presentation, and other predators such as perch, trout, chub, and largemouth bass fall for it readily too.

Finesse or Classic - It Catches

You can of course fish the DUO Realis Versa Shad on a jig head, and it performs well that way. But limiting this soft plastic to a single setup would be a waste of what it offers. The back slot gives it away: it is built to work equally well on an offset hook across a range of finesse rigs. That slot is designed to give you a choice - either hide the hook point fully inside the body for a truly weedless presentation through snaggy cover, or leave the point riding proud of the rubber for maximum hook-up rates on open water. Whether you are working it slowly on finesse rigs such as a Carolina rig or a Jika rig, hopping it along the bottom on a skirted jig, or fishing it classically on a jig head, this shad delivers in every situation.
