DUO Spearhead Ryuki 46S

Sinking Minnow for Fast-Flowing Water

The DUO Spearhead Ryuki 46S is a refined version of the Spearhead Ryuki 45S. At just 1 mm longer and 1 g heavier, the differences are subtle - but they matter. The added weight comes from a broader back, which gives the lure greater stability in the current. Crucially, while it sinks deeper than its predecessor, it does not sink faster: the wider body profile slows the sink rate so that it remains consistent with the original. This makes the Spearhead Ryuki 46S an even stronger choice for deeper, wider, fast-flowing waters, reaching the strike zone more quickly and reliably than before.

It catches trout reliably, but also chub, perch and even asp fall for it readily. In terms of presentation, it is straightforward to fish - a steady retrieve alone is highly effective, but you can also work it with a gentle, high-frequency twitch if you prefer. The DUO Spearhead Ryuki 46S is a high-quality hard lure, finished to an excellent standard - and one that trout anglers in particular should have in their tackle box.
