The Black Force series from Hearty Rise is an all-round spinning rod range built for both freshwater and saltwater use.

A Highly Versatile Rod Series

Despite the ever-growing choice of specialist rods for specific lures, techniques and target species, demand for a reliable all-rounder remains strong - and Hearty Rise answers that with the Black Force series. These sleek, black rods deliver a fast yet versatile action that handles both soft plastics and hard lures with equal confidence. The lighter models are well suited to perch, chub and zander, while the more powerful versions come into their own on big zander, pike, and in the sea on cod, pollack and other saltwater predators.

Premium Components, Outstanding Value

The Hearty Rise Black Force blank is built using the NET-V II process, resulting in a blank that is remarkably light whilst remaining very robust. For the guides, Hearty Rise opted for Fuji K FaZLite rings, featuring an Aluminium CC surface frame with excellent corrosion resistance - a particularly important quality when fishing in saltwater. The high-quality components and construction methods used throughout the Hearty Rise Black Force series give you rods that represent outstanding value for money and can be deployed across a wide range of applications.

From Perch to Pike to Pollack

The Hearty Rise Black Force series covers all the most popular predator species. In total, there are 7 different rods in the range:

BF-762L
The lightest and shortest rod in the series works brilliantly as a light all-round perch rod, equally capable with soft lures on a jig head, small hard lures, and various rigs.

BF-762ML
A light rod that suits perch fishing as well as light zander fishing. It particularly shines on small stillwaters and canals, whether you're jigging lightly or working medium-sized hard lures.

BF-762M
A medium rod that performs very well for zander on both stillwaters and slow-flowing venues. It also makes a fine option for light pike fishing on smaller waters.

BF-762MH
This medium-heavy model is a capable zander rod that also fishes well on rivers. Its versatility means it handles virtually any lure type within its casting weight range and doubles up as a solid medium pike rod.

BF-762H
The most powerful of the 2.31 m Black Force rods, this one is at home on pike and equally effective when targeting cod, pollack and other saltwater predators.

BF-842M
At 2.56 m with a 10-42 g casting weight, this is a fine rod for bank jigging for zander, and it handles light pike fishing with both soft lures and hard lures very well.

BF-842H
This rod excels at jigging for zander on rivers, medium pike fishing, and saltwater fishing for cod, pollack and similar species - including from the bank.

BF-842XH
A powerful rod that performs superbly for pike and is well suited to targeting cod, coalfish and other saltwater species. It has the backbone to handle large fish confidently and works well with heavy jigs, plugs and pirks.

BF-842XXH
The serious heavy-duty option in the range. Purpose-built for pike, huchen and heavy lure fishing in Norway, it is the right choice when working with large, heavy soft lures.
