Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel (Spinning)

Built for the Coast - and Beyond

The Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel (Spinning) are 4-piece travel rods that perform equally well in freshwater, but it is their carefully chosen components that set them apart: every part is corrosion-resistant, making them perfectly suited for saltwater use. If your next trip takes you to the coast, a Dark Soul Travel belongs in your luggage.

High-Quality Rods with an Elegant Finish

Each Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel (Spinning) is built around a high-quality NET-V III Carbon blank that is precisely matched to its intended application. The blank loads up well and delivers long casting distances. Its high sensitivity allows for exceptionally precise lure presentation and excellent bite detection, while the strong backbone provides serious power reserves when playing hard-fighting saltwater predators. The Fuji Alconite ring set is not only robust and salt-resistant - it also complements and supports the performance of the blank. The EVA split grip is shaped with an ergonomic fit in mind, so you can fish for hours on end with minimal fatigue. The KGS reel seat fits the overall design and gives your fixed spool reel a secure, reliable hold. And beyond performance, the Dark Soul Travel (Spinning) also delivers visually: an elegant black design with red decorative wraps - understated, but genuinely sharp-looking.

The Models and Their Recommended Applications

The Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel (Spinning) range covers a variety of models, each optimised for specific areas of lure fishing. Every rod is tuned to its purpose, proving that travel rods need not mean any compromise in performance.

DSST-70M / 2.10 m / 6-28 g

The Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel DSST-70M was designed specifically for lighter saltwater lure fishing. It handles jigging, drop shotting, and crankbaits with ease. The particularly fine tip action registers even the most tentative bites. At 2.10 m, it is also a strong choice for boat fishing. In saltwater, target species include sea bass and comparably sized marine predators; in freshwater, it works well for perch, largemouth bass, and zander.

DSST-71MH / 2.15 m / 8-35 g

The Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel DSST-71MH is closely related to the 70M but carries more backbone and therefore more power. Like the 70M, it was developed specifically for lighter saltwater lure fishing and handles jigging, drop shotting, and crankbaits equally well. The fine tip still picks up shy bites, but the stronger backbone makes it the better choice when targeting slightly larger predators. In salt, the focus is on sea bass, cod, and comparable marine predators; in fresh water, on perch, largemouth bass, and zander. At 2.15 m, it is an especially good option from the boat.

DSST-75HH / 2.20 m / 14-42 g

The Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel DSST-75HH is where the range steps up to heavier lure fishing. Again developed for saltwater use, it handles both soft plastics and hard lures. Sea bass and cod remain on the target list, but this model also lets you go after the hard-fighting coalfish. Despite its sensitivity, the backbone is strong enough for powerful predators. In freshwater, it is well suited to targeting zander and pike.

DSST-73H / 2.25 m / 15-56 g

The Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel DSST-73H was developed for heavier lure fishing at sea and handles both soft plastics and hard lures. It is well set up for sea bass, cod, and coalfish, as well as other comparably sized marine predators. In freshwater, zander and pike are the primary targets. At 2.25 m, it works well both from the boat and from the bank.

DSST-77XH / 2.30 m / 20-80 g

The Hearty Rise Dark Soul Travel DSST-77XH is built for heavy saltwater lure fishing. Whether you are fishing from the boat or the bank, 2.30 m gives you the range you need. Target species in salt include large sea bass, cod, coalfish, and a wide range of other marine predators. High sensitivity combined with considerable power makes it effective with both soft plastics and hard lures, and the backbone holds up during hard fights. In freshwater, it is primarily suited to pike and large zander.
