Hearty Rise Valley Hunter (Spinning)

Beautiful and Very Fast

Two words sum up the Hearty Rise Valley Hunter Series rather well: beautiful and very fast. The rods make an impression the moment you pick one up. The blank is finished in classic black with stylish detailing, and the split grip EVA handle features metal accents in gold and dark grey - a genuinely striking combination. Look a little closer and you'll notice the asymmetric joint, a trend that originated in Japan. It feels different at first, but you quickly appreciate how it affects the handling. The action is very fast and immediately engaging - even a few dry swings make it clear these rods handle their rated casting weights with ease and still have something in reserve. That reserve makes itself known during the fight, too, giving you a better feel throughout.

More Power with NET-V III Technology

NET V-III is a blank construction technology developed by Hearty Rise, in which 3 different carbon fibre layers are bonded together at different angles. The outer layer is wound at a diagonal, and the inner layer is wound mirror-image to it, so the two are essentially perpendicular to one another. The middle layer is wrapped vertically between the two. This construction maximises blank stiffness and resistance - performance you feel through the rod and right at the edge of what's possible.

Fuji Components

Fuji and quality go hand in hand, which is why Hearty Rise has fitted the Valley Hunter rods with Fuji components throughout. The rings are Fuji SIC guides, offering an outstanding combination of durability, low weight, and minimal noise. The Fuji reel seat complements the EVA grip and sits comfortably in the hand.

Three Lightweight Models

The Valley Hunter range is available in 3 models, all among the lightest rods in the Hearty Rise line-up:

642UL
At 194 cm, this is the shortest rod in the range and carries the lowest casting weight of all the Valley Hunter models. Designed for lures between 1 and 5 g, it is right at home on small rivers and streams and is particularly recommended for trout fishing with plugs and spoons - though perch anglers after light presentations will find plenty to like as well.

692L
The Valley Hunter 692L is a light perch rod. With a maximum casting weight of 10 g it still sits firmly in the ultralight to light category, and perch anglers who enjoy soft lures on light rigs and finesse rigs will get the most out of this one.

712ML
This model excels with finesse rigs and drop shot, but works equally well with soft plastics on a jig head and small hard lures. An all-round rod for perch anglers.
