Hearty Rise has revised the Zander Force and improved it in several key areas to produce the Zander Force II.

Now Available with 40 g Casting Weight

The Hearty Rise Zander Force II has been refined across a number of details. By popular demand, a 40 g model has been added, opening up the use of heavier jig heads or fishing in stronger currents. Where the original Zander Force still showed its roots as an EGI rod, the new version features a significantly more suitable guide set. The Fuji K Stainless SIC guides in their stainless steel frames have been chosen with care for size and frame height, making them ideal for a zander rod and delivering outstanding performance for long, accurate casts. With small to medium lures in particular, these rods come into their own. The balance has been further improved, refining the overall package - achieved in part through the application of the NET-V III weaving process, in which 3 carbon layers are woven in opposing directions to one another.

Two Variants for Zander Fishing

The Hearty Rise Zander Force II was developed specifically for fishing soft lures for zander. At 251 cm, it has the ideal length for zander fishing from the bank, but works equally well from a boat, especially where long casts at relatively shallow depths are required. The rod is stiff with a fast recovery and delivers excellent feedback, giving you constant information about what is happening at the lure and what the bottom feels like. The Zander Force II rods are outstanding for jigging or working lures slowly along the bottom in still waters and in light currents with medium jig head weights. Two models are available:

ZF2-832MH
The medium-heavy variant is particularly well suited to smaller lures on light to medium jig heads. It also handles the Carolina rig and drop shot rig for zander very well.

ZF2-832H
The heavy variant has only 8 g more maximum casting weight, but a noticeably stiffer and harder blank. This makes it ideal for slow to medium-paced flowing waters - wherever you are fishing with small to medium soft lures and jig heads up to around 15 or 20 g.

Great spinning rod for easier walleye jigging I was looking for a spinning rod for easy walleye jigging from the shore with a longer foregrip. Thanks to the great Christmas discount campaign, I couldn't resist the offer. I fish the rod with a 2500 Daiwa Airity and 0.10 mm Daiwa Morethan 12 Braid. It is therefore perfectly balanced for me (hand completely on Foregrip with finger on the blank). So far I've fished 4-5 inches of rubber with 10-15 gram jigs and believe that's the best. It is super fast and tight enough to be able to parry zander bites at full throw range (yes, I was able to inaugurate them the day before yesterday with a 50). The bite detection is great (but you should also be able to expect it in the price range!). Under the load of a drill, the rod works really well. The throw distance is great and even after just a few days I think that it completely meets all my requirements. So after my first experience with the fine stick, all thumbs up???

The rod is very light and sensitive. I fish from the shore with 5-10 grams of jig head and I have to say that the rod works well with it. It is manufactured to a very high quality, acts quickly and simply feels good in the hand. Bite transmission is great and it has a lot of drill power. The tip is not stiff as with classic walleye rods (no broomstick) but also not soft - for me, the rod has the optimal workmanship for light zander jigging. Clear purchase recommendation!
