LMAB Finesse Filet 11 cm

A Lure with a Passive Action Unlike Anything Else

With the Finesse Filet, #LMAB has developed a genuinely distinctive soft lure. While conventional soft lures imitate an active or fleeing fish, this concept is built around the passive movement of a weak, stricken baitfish - an easy meal for predators such as largemouth bass, zander, and perch. The LMAB Finesse Filet measures 11 cm and weighs just 6 g. That low weight comes from a body that is only 2 mm wide. The head is deliberately wider to ensure a secure hook hold, with the hook point ideally exiting just behind the gill cover.

An Easy Meal That Requires No Effort

A fish that can no longer control its swim bladder rolls onto its side. That is exactly the behaviour the LMAB Finesse Filet replicates. This finesse lure is rigged sideways on a jig head, offset hook, or drop shot hook, so that it swims like a stricken juvenile or fry lying on its side. That passive action signals to predators such as perch, zander, and largemouth bass that there is an effortless meal on offer, with no dramatic escape to contend with.

How to Fish It

The LMAB Finesse Filet works best when fished very passively on a standup jig head, a Carolina rig, a Texas rig, or a drop shot rig. The aim is to imitate a sick fish, so the retrieve should be noticeably slow, with extended pauses. During those pauses the Finesse Filet keeps working, fluttering even in the lightest current.

On a standup jig, this soft lure can be presented right on the bottom. Dragging it slowly across a sandy bed kicks up a small cloud of particles, and the tail fin then draws attention within it. The same rig is also well suited to vertical jigging from a boat. A drop shot rig gives you the control to hold the lure at a precise height above the bottom - pauses are again the key. On a Carolina rig or Texas rig the lure drifts almost weightlessly through the near-bottom zone, fluttering like a flag in the wind.

Considered Colour Patterns for Every Water and Every Condition

The #LMAB Finesse Filet in Pike draws strikes with a striking pike-inspired pattern. The natural design features a dark green back and a silver belly, finished with a pale yellow stripe pattern throughout. The fins shine in a shimmering brown, just like the real thing.

The #LMAB Finesse Filet in Roach echoes the look of a roach or rudd, with a dark back marking. Roach and rudd are naturally on the menu for zander, pike, and perch alike. Its translucent belly makes it highly adaptable and fishable even in very clear water. The anal fin and tail fin feature UV-active orange as a visual focal point.

In coloured water, the #LMAB Finesse Filet in Sunrise is a reliable choice. With a black back, naturally grey flanks, and a UV-orange belly, this soft lure attracts attention even in the toughest conditions.

A colour classic rounds out the range: the #LMAB Finesse Filet in Firetiger. This all-round pattern relies on strong UV activity and the bold contrast of black stripes across the back.

The #LMAB Finesse Filet in Perch is the second highly natural-looking pattern. A light brown back with black stripes completes the perch-style design. This colour also has a translucent belly and distinctive pectoral and tail fins. The eyes glint in gold, making them easy for predators to lock onto.

In Rainbow Trout, the #LMAB Finesse Filet comes in another natural colourway. The characteristic violet lateral stripe is the detail that triggers strikes, particularly in clear water.

The #LMAB Finesse Filet in Galaxy is an eye-catching yet natural-looking pattern. A light brown back, a translucent pale belly, and blue flakes make this colour stand out and tempt zander, perch, and other predators into striking. The high-contrast design works not only in clear water but also in slightly coloured conditions.

Purple Rave has already accounted for a huge number of quality fish. The high-contrast combination of a violet back that turns translucent under strong light and a UV-active yellow belly will without doubt keep on convincing big predators.

The Extra Detail That Makes the Difference

The standout extra on this soft lure is its Seafood Flavour. Predators of all kinds are drawn to this scent. Once a predator has taken the lure, the flavour removes any suspicion and stops it from spitting the bait as quickly as it might with an unscented alternative.
