A Soft Lure That Turns Heads

The #LMAB Finesse Filet is a soft plastic that has caused quite a stir in the predator fishing scene, earning a reputation for outstanding catches. Imitating a weakened juvenile fish, it triggers bites through a completely unique action in the water.

Key Specs: #LMAB Finesse Filet 7 cm

This soft plastic has some remarkable dimensions. At 7.0 cm long and a maximum of 1.5 cm tall, its body is just 1.0 mm thick. The silhouette is unmistakably that of a small fish - prominent eyes, a gill cover and fins all contribute to a highly convincing profile. For zander, pike and perch, this is simply a baitfish.

A Unique Body Design

Most soft lures imitate an active or frantically fleeing fish. With this range, #LMAB set out to replicate something entirely different: a sick and weakened fry. The lure is rigged sideways on the hook, so it drifts on its side like an injured fish that has lost control of its swim bladder. In doing so, it ticks all three boxes for an easy meal in the eyes of a predator:

1. passive movement pattern
2. the body shape of a weakened fish
3. no attempt to flee

Considered Colour Schemes for Every Water and Every Condition

The #LMAB Finesse Filet 7 cm Roach mimics a white fish with a dark back marking. Roach and rudd are a natural part of the diet for zander, pike and perch. Its translucent belly helps it blend in seamlessly, making it effective even in very clear water. The anal fin and tail fin feature UV-active orange as a visual focal point.

The second highly natural colour is #LMAB Finesse Filet 7 cm Perch. A light-brown back crossed with black stripes completes the perch-style appearance. It too has a translucent belly, along with distinctive pelvic fins and tail fins. The eyes glint in gold, making it easy for predators to lock on to.

No lure range would be complete without a classic colour, and that role here falls to the #LMAB Finesse Filet 7 cm Firetiger. This colour is an all-rounder that relies on strong UV activity and high contrast from the black stripes along the back.

In coloured water, the #LMAB Finesse Filet 7 cm Sunrise is a reliable choice. With a black back, naturally greyish flanks and a UV-orange glowing belly, this soft lure demands attention even in the most challenging conditions.

The #LMAB Finesse Filet 7 cm Pike triggers bites with a distinctive pike-inspired colour scheme. The natural pattern features a dark-green back and a silver belly, finished throughout with a light-yellow stripe pattern. The fins shimmer in a natural brown, just like the real thing.

Galaxy offers a strong option for clear and slightly coloured waters. The light-brown back contrasts with the translucent pale belly, while blue flakes catch the attention of predators - particularly in bright sunshine.

Rainbow Trout is a natural colour that works especially well in clear water. The purple stripe running along the centre of the body is a visually striking feature that triggers predators into striking.

With Purple Rave, #LMAB has produced something special. The deep-purple back and yellow, UV-active belly create an extremely high contrast. In strong sunlight, the back becomes transparent and green flakes pick up every bit of available light. Even in the murkiest water, this colour delivers.

How to Fish It

This lure is designed to imitate a slowly dying baitfish. Its extremely thin body drifts lifelessly through the water by nature. While it works well on a jig head or an offset hook, and only needs slow rod-tip twitches to show its full potential, the Finesse Filet is built for the drop shot rig.

The proportionally thicker head ensures you can mount the Finesse Filet securely on the hook. Unlike conventional soft lures, the hook is inserted sideways into the body so that the fish lies on its side. It is ideal for virtually any finesse rig - no predator can resist such a helpless target.

The Extra Detail That Makes the Difference

The standout extra on this soft plastic is the seafood flavour. It is a scent that predators recognise from a wide range of waters. Once a fish has taken the lure, the flavour does not arouse suspicion - meaning the predator is far less likely to eject it immediately, as often happens with unscented lures.
