The La Moustique Strikes
The La Moustique rod series from LMAB combines the latest materials and components into a range built for perch and trout anglers. Despite being remarkably light, these rods have the backbone to handle hard-fighting fish. The extremely light, high-modulus, two-piece 24-T full-carbon blank - paired with 8 (or 9 on the 2.25m models) stainless steel guides with ceramic inserts - delivers a super-fast action and outstanding bite detection, while still offering a robust backbone. The 'Moustique' is primarily aimed at perch and trout, though the heavier models handle zander well too. The perch-oriented models with casting weights of 1-7 g and 2-10 g feature a solid tip, which reduces resistance on the take, significantly cutting down on missed bites from wary fish and letting you feel every tiny vibration and change in bottom structure. Grip
The ultralight split grip of the La Moustique consists of a rear section in high-quality EVA and a lightweight reel seat at the front. The result is maximum weight reduction, excellent feedback, and an ideal lever on every cast.
Guides
Each rod is fitted with 8 (or 9 on the 2.25m models) stainless steel double-leg ceramic guides for clean line flow and precise lure control. The three foremost guides are wrapped with strikingly bright thread specifically to aid bite detection in low-light conditions.
Blank
The ultralight, full-length, two-piece, high-modulus 24-T full-carbon blank is built with modern wrapping technology. It combines a super-sensitive tip with a strong, robust backbone.

So Since I'm just a beginner and had the outrageously lucky to win the initial equipment from the fishing forge, here's a review: Having already been able to fish in Meck-Pomm several times with other rods, I have to say that this rod is definitely worth the money for the price. Especially the (for my terms) “delicate” - I mean sensitive - blank is great for beginners like me. You can feel every attack and I would have almost the greatest certainty that it is a fish My husband (almost 40, has been fishing since the age of 4) was a bit too enthusiastic and wanted to take “my” rod away from me soon But honestly. He said that he would also buy them now for winter, as the sensibility is very pleasant, especially for times when the robbers are not quite as jagged. However, we have only tested it “dry” so far, as I won't release the rod. I keep them until I get my own fishing license But that's okay for him Either way. From laymen or professionals, there is still a very clear “yes” to buying. The rod is easily worth the money!

For the price really a mega rod, you can't say anything against it. Reset speed is also really good, relatively tight despite the softer peak action. The handle feels good in the hand and the design is completely successful. For me, the rod is combined with a Daiwa Exceller 4000c and is not completely balanced, although you barely notice this when fishing and attaching counterweights is also not impossible. All in all, a really successful rod at an unbeatable price.

Buy recommendation I bought a La Moustique Spinning 198cm /2-10gr from you on 26.10.22 and compared 210cm/2-15gr with my favorite Swiss perch rod today. So the Salmo Rattlin Hornet 3.5cm/3.1g crankbait was guided with your rod with more feedback. You could immediately tell when a leaf caught on the hook. The Westin Spot-On Top Walker with 15gr Top Water could easily be encouraged to break out even though it is outside the casting weight. In terms of casting distance, I could not tell any difference between the two baits on the water and the Swiss product. So your rod, which is almost 100 euros cheaper, is the better choice on the water. The roll used was a Daiwa Fuego LT 1000 with 0.10 mm 8-fold. It's true that the lace ring actually only tolerates FG knots. Since I choose the leader shorter, it stays in front of the lace ring. I have now ordered the casting version.

Insane rod, but... a very small BUT I would give 9.9 if I could. So I'll start, I've treated myself to version 7 - 21g. Incredibly sensitive, super sensitive and feels great in the hand. Definitely has enough backbone to be able to parry medium-sized pikes, it has proven today. All in all, an incredibly great rod that is actually unparalleled in the price range. Small downside, if it is one at all, the front ring is minimally sized, which even with a 0.06 braid and a 0.19 fluoro, any knot in which the fluoro is laid twice is rubbed open. The experience have I been able to make the last few days painful? When using the rod, the angler is forced to get to grips with the FG knot, for example.

Nice rod at a fair price The rod is for my - now fishing wife. I myself use Cherry Picker, Lucky and Surgeon. So I'm used to quality. To my surprise, the moustique is impeccably made and looks very good on the water. At 4-14 grams (225 cm), I would place them in the middle of my rods mentioned above. Perfect for price-conscious anglers. I don't see anything about alleged processing defects, as described in various forums. Rings perfectly fleeing and neatly attached to the blank and painted. TOP A really nice piece, I bought the 2.25 in 7-21 g and can only recommend it. It feels great in the hand, absolutely sensitive, you can feel every pluck, lightweight, great and high-quality workmanship and at an absolutely fair price. I've fished with it twice now and have only had good experiences with it both in the river and in the lake. Pike, perch, walleye and even a cross-hacked carp are no problem for the rod. Price/performance second to none I am impressed! I was looking for a rod for our small river - predatory fish stocks perch, chub, pike (up to 60cm) - with which even smaller fish are fun. I have to say - little baits fly like hell, 20 bass, 20 trout, smaller chubs - it's sooooo fun. The feedback is great, the drill is so unique. Even a 40s pike was feasible without any problems, and it feels like 1.20m.? Highly recommended!

Super rod Very nice rod. The bites are easy to see. Great for the T&C rig. I've also tried wobblers and jiggs with it. It is also very good for accurate bait guidance. I think the price of the rod is great, as expensive branded rods don't reach far ahead here. The only thing you should improve is the role holder, which has a bit of play. My rod 4-14g, 225cm, perch.

Really great rod It's really great to fish with this rod. She is super sensitive and you can even notice the fluttering of a crab at short distances (approx. 10m) when sinking. lightweight rod, slightly too top-heavy due to the short handle length in my opinion... in principle a 2.4m rod with a shortened handle, usability will prove to be useful, especially as ordered by the fishing company as part of the bonus package. The bonus package overall is a great and rock-solid thing - everything put together super well!!!
