Lurejunks Weepin

The Lurejunks Shad for Pelagic Fishing

Lurejunks has created the Weepin, a V-tail shad measuring 20.5 cm and weighing 33 g, featuring the unmistakable Lurejunks head design complete with pectoral and dorsal fins. The body tapers into an elongated forked tail with a pin running through the centre of the fork. When fished actively - whether vertical jigging or pelagic - the lure produces wide, sweeping movements with pronounced pressure waves that draw in predators from a considerable distance. During pauses, it settles into a horizontal position and responds to the slightest twitch with a subtle tail vibration, giving any predator that has already moved in on the lure that final trigger to commit.

Dorsal Slot and Scale Finish

The Lurejunks Weepin features a vertical slot in the dorsal fin that is designed to conceal a treble hook neatly, reducing the chances of wary predators spotting the ironmongery before they strike. The scale-pattern finish adds more than just visual appeal: those fine surface structures also create a superb base for attractants such as the Lurejunks Attractant. The textured surface holds pastes and attractants firmly, letting you apply whichever scent you prefer directly to the lure. The Lurejunks Weepin comes unscented as standard, giving you complete flexibility to experiment with different colours and attractants until you find the combination that gets a big pike or zander to commit.
