Give It Some Power - a Rod That Delivers
The Sling Shot spinning rod from Monkey Lures is an ideal rod for beginners, yet equally at home in the hands of experienced anglers. Available in two lengths - 2.40 m and 2.70 m - and casting weights of 5-25 g, 10-40 g, 20-60 g and 25-90 g, the Sling Shot has you covered for perch, zander and pike alike.
High-End JDM Quality at a Fair Price
The Toray blank of the Sling Shot is built from carbon and manufactured using a state-of-the-art cross-weave process, giving it outstanding stability and a genuinely striking appearance. Thanks to the advanced materials and construction technique, the blank is both superlight and extremely robust, so you can fish all day without fatigue. You stay in constant contact with your lure throughout - the highly sensitive blank transmits even the faintest movement straight to your hand, keeping you fully aware of what is happening beneath the surface.
The ergonomic reel seat takes that sensitivity a step further. Cut-outs in the seat allow you to place your thumb and fingers directly against the blank, so you won't miss a bite and your strike timing improves as a result.
The Sea Guide rod rings feature a SiC insert and are optimised for braid, letting your line run through with minimal friction and helping you achieve greater casting distances. The titanium frame of the Sea Guide rings is lightweight yet tough enough to handle saltwater conditions. A particularly handy detail: the top rings are fitted with glow-in-the-dark whippings, so you can see exactly what is happening at your rod tip even after dark.

Sling Shot | Spinning Rute 240 cm / 5-25 g
Great rod. Junior is happy I bought this rod for my junior he is super happy with it and since he is more of a giant Big L fan what you can already see in his collection of baits, it was obvious that he needed a suitable rod. The price-performance ratio is perfect and the rod is great to fish.

Does what it should;) Fish the rod now since January 23 and I am completely satisfied. Heads between 8-21g go Wonderful with the rod. Pikes up to 94 and zander up to 73 were and are no problem. It is definitely a top price/performance ratio and great customer support.Lg
Sling Shot | Spinning Rute 240 cm / 5-25 g
Absolutely recommended top workmanship. Price/performance is definitely right. I can only agree with the comments and reviews so far. Thanks to the recesses, almost no bite is missed and the tip of the rod is very easy to see even at night thanks to the “afterglow”.
