Nays DRV

No Ribs, but with Notches

The Nays DRV is a shad available in 3 sizes, sitting in Nays' paddle tail range between the PRDTR and the VNM. It has a slimmer profile with a subtly high-backed body shape and features glued-on eyes that add an extra touch of realism. The most notable difference from the other shads in the range is the absence of ribs - instead, the DRV carries notches along its body, which influence the swimming action and water displacement in their own distinct way.

Built for Slow Rolling, but Just as Good When Jigged

The Nays DRV produces a pronounced rolling action with strong flanking movement. It comes alive at even the slowest retrieve speeds, making it a perfect soft lure for slow rolling on a light jig head. That also makes it ideal for night fishing for zander. Fish it with a classic jigging retrieve and it delivers confident, hard takes just as reliably. The DRV is a fantastic soft plastic for zander fishing, but it catches perch, pike and other predators equally well.

How to Fish It

Work the DRV slowly on a light jig head for the best rolling action - this is where it truly excels, especially for zander after dark. You can also jig it in a more active style for equally strong results.
