Perch Love the Japanese

The Redbee from Noike is the smaller sibling of the Machobee - a slim-profiled soft lure built around a pintail design. The soft rubber compound and the ribbed underside work together to push out vibrations on the retrieve, giving the lure a subtle but consistent action that perch find hard to ignore.

The Redbee is at home on a wide range of finesse rigs. Fish it on a drop shot or a Texas rig and it performs equally well on both. Where it really shines, though, is as a trailer on a rubber jig - the pintail plays beautifully with the jig's skirt and is highly effective for perch. In terms of shape, colour and size, these Noike soft plastics are purpose-built finesse lures for perch fishing.

The rubber compound is treated with a strong-smelling attractant that replicates shrimp and fry. It is also heavily salted, which encourages predators to hold on to the lure far longer after the take.

Redbee 2,8'' | 7,2 cm Young Perch

One of my absolute favorite baits. Top quality from Noike as usual As a trailer on the Noike Tiny Kaishin Blade, an absolute weapon on perch for me.

Redbee 2,8'' | 7,2 cm Bubblegum

Top iVM Noike Kaishin Finesse Jig points deduction due to price. They last longer than you would expect after the first touch (relatively soft and salted). After a few perches, the pintails look really worn out. However, stay on the jig in the piece and keep on catching...

Redbee 2,8'' | 7,2 cm Bubblegum

I drop shot the bubblegum, tested various other baits that day, barely any perch. Bubblegum immediately lures rummages, one good fish at a time. Even after weeks, I'm still super convinced that the bait is popping.
