Reins Ax Craw

A Craw with Great Action and Real Fish-Catching Ability

The Reins AX Craw is a crayfish imitation soft plastic available in several sizes. The two smaller options at 2.5" and 3" have a more compact profile, while the 4" version is noticeably more elongated. What all three share is excellent action and outstanding fish-catching ability. Whether you're after perch, largemouth bass or zander, there's always a size to match what the fish are in the mood for.

Wide but Flat Body with Plenty of Turbulence

Viewed from above, the Reins AX Craw has a wider body, yet it's noticeably flat in profile. This works strongly in favour of your hook-up ratio when fishing with offset hooks, as the hook point slides through thinner material far more easily than through a bulkier body. The 4 legs, the ribbed body and the flat claws together generate considerable turbulence in the water, drawing the attention of nearby predators. The claws are particularly eye-catching - they start paddling with even the slightest movement through the water.

Built for Finesse Rigs and as a Trailer

You've got plenty of options with the Reins AX Craw. The primary choice is naturally finesse rigs such as a Carolina rig or a Texas rig - this crayfish imitation presents itself perfectly on these and many other rigs. But it also performs very well as a trailer. You can even fish it on a jig head, though maximum effectiveness comes when you pair it with skirted jigs - it was made for exactly that combination and provokes hard, aggressive bites. All in all, these are craws that belong in the soft plastic box of any finesse angler.
