The Salmo Rattlin' Hornet is built on the foundation of the Salmo Hornet and shares much of its legendary look - but comes fitted with a built-in rattle and a Long Cast System. The rattle adds extra attraction, and combined with a high-frequency wobble action, it triggers aggressive reaction bites even in heavy cover and heavily coloured water. Thanks to the Long Cast System, this crankbait casts far and accurately, making it an outstanding search bait for covering large areas of water efficiently.

It's very well balanced and tracks with exceptional stability, performing equally well in still and fast-flowing water and across all retrieve speeds from slow to very fast.

Tough Build & Ultra-Sharp BKK Treble Hooks

The Salmo Rattlin' Hornet is built to last. Both the body and diving lip are made from a highly durable plastic that handles hard contact with rocks and other snags without issue - which also makes it a strong choice for bottom bouncing. The rounded lip doesn't force the lure upward on contact; instead, it deflects in the direction of least resistance, guiding the bait around obstructions rather than into them. This version of the Rattlin' Hornet is now fitted with ultra-sharp BKK treble hooks of very high strength - more than capable of handling a big pike without a second thought. Also new are the 2 hook protectors supplied with the lure. These keep the treble hooks sharp during storage and transport, protect the lure's finish from hook scratches, and prevent the inevitable tangles in your hard lure box. Slide them off and you're ready to fish straight away.
