Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Big Bait

Spinning Rod for Big Lures

The Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Big Bait is a spinning rod series built specifically for pike fishing with large lures. The powerful, progressive blank is constructed from high-modulus 24T/30T carbon, giving you the backbone to cast and work big lures with precision. That power also comes into its own the moment a pike takes - hooks set cleanly and you stay in full control throughout the fight, whatever the size of the fish. If you want to fish big lures without switching to a baitcaster, the Alpha SG2 Big Bait is built for exactly that.

Quality Components, Solid Performance

The 24T/30T carbon blank is paired with Seaguide CCS Stainless Steel guides featuring SiN inserts, which are particularly well suited to braid, though all line types work perfectly well. The full grip is made from Duragrip 70 material for a confident hold, and the Double Lock reel seat keeps your fixed spool reel firmly in place.
