Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Medium Game

Great Rods for Medium Game Sea Fishing

The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Medium Game rods were developed specifically for medium game sea fishing. These versatile rods strike an excellent balance between casting distance and accuracy, making them well suited to a wide range of saltwater marks - whether you're fishing from a beach, rocks, a harbour, a pier or any other coastal structure, there's a model to match. They handle both soft lures and hard lures equally well, and with either you'll appreciate the precise lure control they deliver. The Defiance SG2 Medium Game is a superb choice for sea bass and sea trout, and in warmer southern waters also for hard-fighting species such as bluefish and bonito.

Quality Components for Solid Performance

The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Medium Game is built around a high-modulus 24T/30T carbon blank fitted with SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides with SiN inserts. The grip section combines a split grip EVA handle made from durable Duragrip70 material with a SeaGuide Gold Label reel seat. The rod sits comfortably in the hand and keeps the fixed spool reel firmly in place. With quality components throughout, the Defiance SG2 Medium Game delivers a great day's fishing at the coast.
