Savage Gear SG Tactical Big Bait

Going After Big Pike with Big Baits

The Savage Gear SG Tactical Big Bait is a spinning rod series built specifically for big bait pike fishing. If large lures and hard-fighting pike are your thing, these rods have you covered. Built on a reinforced blank with a progressive action, they handle high casting weights with ease while delivering the backbone you need to convert bites cleanly. When a pike surges for cover at close range, you can hold firm and fight every fish, right up to the largest pike you're ever likely to encounter.

Quality Components for Solid Performance

The Savage Gear SG Tactical Big Bait is built around a high-modulus 30T carbon blank with a Moderate Fast Action rating. The blank is fitted with a SeaGuide CCS Stainless Steel guide set with SiN inserts, making it well suited for use with braid. Depending on the model, the handle features a Split Grip, Full Grip or Abbreviated Grip in high-quality Duragrip70 EVA material. Which grip style comes with which rod is detailed in the data sheet. The SG Tactical Big Bait rods combine quality components with strong performance and a good price-to-performance ratio.
