Savage Gear SG Tactical Light Game

Versatile Light Lure Rods for a Broad Range of Predators

The Savage Gear SG Tactical Light Game is a spinning rod series designed specifically for small to medium lures. These rods cover a wide range of techniques: you can fish spinners and spoons, hard lures such as crankbaits and twitchbaits, soft plastics on a light jig head, or finesse rigs like the Carolina rig. They are a strong choice for perch but also perform well on trout, chub, largemouth bass and more. The rods are very well balanced and deliver excellent feedback, which allows for highly precise lure presentation. During the fight they have plenty of reserve and a springy action - enough to handle larger bonus fish reliably while reducing hook pulls and line breaks. Thanks to that reserve in the blank, you can land bigger incidental catches with confidence.

Quality Components for Reliable Performance

The Savage Gear SG Tactical Light Game is built on a high-modulus 30T Carbon blank with a Fast Action rating. The blank is fitted with a SeaGuide CCS Stainless Steel ring set featuring SiN inserts, which are well suited to thin braid. The handle uses a split grip made from premium Duragrip70 EVA material, giving the rods a very comfortable feel in hand. The SG Tactical Light Game combines quality components with strong on-water performance and solid value for money.
