Zander Fishing with Soft Lures and Vib-Baits

The Savage Gear SG6 Revenge Fast Shad Spinning rods are built specifically for zander fishing with soft lures on a jig head and vib-baits. At the heart of each rod is a very fast Japanese Torayca 30/40T Carbon blank that combines outstanding sensitivity with serious backbone, courtesy of 4x Wrap Carbon construction. You'll feel even the most hesitant take and still have the power to drive the hook home in the hard, bony mouth of a zander. That same sensitivity gives you precise, controlled lure presentation - the lure does exactly what you want it to do, which translates directly into more bites. In the fight, the blank absorbs the head-shakes of big zander, reducing the number of fish lost at the net.

Very Low Weight and Perfect Balance

The Savage Gear SG6 Revenge Fast Shad Spinning blanks are fitted with SeaGuide CCS guides, and the handle is a premium cork split-grip with a Fuji reel seat. These rods are perfectly balanced, which matters enormously on long sessions. Combined with the very low weight, you stay focused and fatigue-free even after hours of casting - so when that single decisive bite finally comes on a tough day, you're ready for it. The SG6 Revenge Fast Shad Spinning range covers the full spectrum of zander waters, from smaller still or slow-flowing venues right through to large rivers with a strong current.
