Seika Pro Fabrico Pike

A Large, Tough Shad for Big Pike

The Seika Pro Fabrico Pike was developed by Seika Pro team anglers Fabian Duksch and Rico Buske specifically for pike fishing. It works equally well from the bank and from a boat. The recommended setup is a stinger system with 2 treble hooks in size 1/0 - for example a Shallow Rig. Fished unweighted, this shad is particularly effective over shallow water less than 1 m deep. The most productive retrieve is a steady wind-in with short pauses: its passive action triggers pike reliably and draws hard strikes. The tough rubber compound shrugs off those attacks without trouble, so you can take multiple pike on a single lure.

Trolling It Too

Add a weight to the Seika Pro Fabrico Pike and you can fish it deeper - at which point trolling becomes an option alongside casting, and has proved particularly effective for big open-water predators. It's not just pike that go for it either; large zander and even wels catfish are happy to take it and add a welcome change to your session.

How to Fish It

Unweighted, work the shad steadily with short stops over shallow water under 1 m. If you add a weight and go deeper, trolling is an equally valid approach - especially when targeting big predators in open water.
