Deep-Diving Longbill Minnow
The Illex Twitch Flesh 67 D2R is the deeper-running version of the small Illex Longbill Minnow series. Thanks to its specially designed diving lip, it dives quickly down to depth - one level further than the shallower model. With a running depth of approx. 1.8-2.0 m, it gets down to where deeper-holding predators sit and triggers takes from perch, zander, asp, chub, trout, and largemouth bass. Essentially, this lure covers just about every small to medium-sized predator you're likely to target.
High Casting Accuracy and Versatile Retrieves
The Illex Twitch Flesh 67 D2R is fitted with a weight transfer system that delivers very high casting accuracy, letting you work structures and snags with precision. Beyond that, the lure is genuinely versatile in the water. Built for twitching, it also performs well on Stop & Go, jerking, and bottom tapping. When you pause the retrieve, its suspending behaviour really comes into its own - it hangs motionless in the water column and provokes follows into a full-on take. The Illex Twitch Flesh 67 D2R holds its own even on heavily pressured, clear water. Hook-up rates are kept consistently high by two razor-sharp BKK treble hooks, which grip reliably and stand up to hard fights.
A shallower-running variant is also available as the Twitch Flesh DR.
