Westin knows big-pike lures. The ShadTeez 19 cm is a natural extension of their proven ShadTeez range - a proper big-pike soft lure built for serious predator fishing.

Key Specs of the Westin ShadTeez

This shad measures 19 cm in length and weighs 56 g. Despite its size, the body profile is notably slim at just 1.5 cm wide, while a body height of 3.9 cm gives it a deep, full-bellied cross-section. The tail is a paddle tail measuring 3.6 cm x 4 cm. The soft yet durable material stands up to repeated pike attacks without falling apart.

A Highly Realistic Finish with Plenty of Detail

The naturalistic head section is the first thing you notice. The mouth, gill plate and realistic 3D eye are all rendered with real attention to detail. Look further along the body and you'll find pectoral fins, a fine scale pattern and a lateral line - all of which add to the lifelike overall appearance.

The Running Action of This Shad

This shad works well on both a baitcasting rod and a spinning rod. Its action also makes it a strong choice for trolling. At slower retrieve speeds it produces a rolling action that gives it a convincingly natural swimming movement. Push the retrieve a little faster and it starts to flash hard from side to side, presenting its belly flanks in a strong pulsing action that pike find hard to ignore.
