The ShadTeez by Westin has earned its place among the most respected soft lures on the market, producing fish across all sizes and firmly establishing itself in the boxes of serious predator anglers.

The Westin ShadTeez at a Glance

As the name suggests, the ShadTeez is a shad-style soft lure. This variant measures 7 cm in length and weighs 3 g. At 0.7 cm wide, it sits firmly in the slimmer end of the soft lure spectrum, yet its 1.5 cm body height gives it proportionally generous flanks.

The Distinctive Action of the ShadTeez

What sets this lure apart is its pronounced rolling, flanking action - driven entirely by the powerful paddle tail. At higher retrieve speeds, the belly rolls from side to side in a wide, flashing arc. Slow things down and the action shifts into a more subtle rolling motion that looks thoroughly natural in the water.

Fine Detail Even at 7 cm

Achieving crisp detail on a small soft lure is no easy feat, yet Westin has pulled it off with the 7 cm ShadTeez. The moulding is clean and exceptionally fine. You can clearly make out the mouth, the gill cover and the pectoral fin. Even the scale pattern and lateral line are sharply defined. The eyes, too, make their presence felt at this size and round off the overall impression of this lure beautifully.
