Westin W6 Jerk & Swimbait-T 2nd

Baitcasting Rods Built for Pike

The Westin W6 Jerk & Swimbait-T 2nd is the second generation of these baitcasting rods designed for pike fishing. They bring together power and strength with a remarkably low dead weight - a combination that is far from standard. This is made possible by the Torayca carbon layering technology and the 3C grip constructed from solid carbon. The medium-fast action delivers outstanding lure feel and high sensitivity, allowing you to work medium-heavy to heavy swimbaits, glide baits, large soft lures and even spinnerbaits with great precision and control. When the hard bite comes, the very strong backbone ensures a solid hook set. Despite the considerable power on tap, sensitivity and lure presentation are not compromised - which is precisely what makes the Westin W6 Jerk & Swimbait-T 2nd such a capable baitcasting rod for pike. These rods pair particularly well with Westin baitcasters in size 200.

Excellent Build Quality Meets Striking Design

The Westin W6 Series makes an immediate visual statement with its distinctive red blank and black grip section. Beneath the striking looks lies equally strong technical performance. The high-grade 40T+T1100 Torayca High Performance Carbon blank, combined with the 3C Carbon grip (Close Contact Carbon), delivers enormous power reserves without sacrificing sensitivity. The grip makes direct contact with the blank, transmitting every vibration straight to your hand and turning the rod into a true extension of your arm. The specification is rounded off by Fuji SiC ring guides that handle braid without issue, a Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat and a practical Seaguide TiDHOOK#4 hook keeper - making the W6 Series a technically refined tool for serious pike fishing.
