The blank of the Westin W8 Shad & Jig 2nd is built on a Torayca T1100GC blank with M40JB carbon fibre. This extremely light yet powerful blank delivers high sensitivity, giving you outstanding feedback on lure action and every tap and nudge. You can fish for hours, focused and relaxed at the same time. For optimal balance, Westin recommends pairing the rod with a fixed spool reel in size 3000 or 4000.
