Westin W8 Versiteez 2nd

The W8 Versiteez 2nd: Versatile Soft Lure Rod for Predators

The Westin W8 Versiteez 2nd is the latest addition to the popular W8 series. The name says it all: "Versi" from versatile and "teez" point directly to its purpose - versatile fishing with soft plastics such as ShadTeez, BullTeez, KickTeez, RingTeez and other soft lures for predators. It is an outstanding rod choice, especially for jigging for perch and zander.

Incredible Sensitivity with Genuine Backbone

The Westin W8 Versiteez 2nd is built on a Torayca T1100GC blank with M40JB carbon fibre. This blank combines extraordinary sensitivity with precise control over small lures, while still having the power to work larger lures with confidence. That makes it a natural fit for versatile soft lure fishing targeting large perch, mid-sized zander and even light pike fishing. The finest bites register clearly, and you can follow through with a decisive strike without compromise.

Quality Components Throughout

The Westin W8 Versiteez 2nd is built to a high standard and fitted with premium components to match. The Fuji SiC ring guides are tangle-free and deliver top performance with braid. The reel seat is also from Fuji: the Fuji T2C Carbon reel seat pairs perfectly with the split grip and gives your fixed spool reel a secure, balanced hold. Westin recommends fixed spool reels in size 2500 or 3000 for optimal balance with these rods. The grip section also features a removable carbon end cap. Mounted directly on the blank is the Seaguide Arc Hook 2.5 hook keeper, giving you a reliable attachment point for your rigged soft lure.

Numbered and Delivered in Style

Every Westin W8 Versiteez 2nd comes with its own individual serial number - a small touch that makes each rod that little bit more personal. It arrives in a premium neoprene rod sleeve for safe transport, packed inside a distinctive triangular cardboard box. From blank to packaging, every detail has been thought through - and you'll feel it the moment it's in your hands.
