Zeck's First TPE Lure

The Zeck Finesse Goby is a goby imitation available in several sizes and the first TPE lure from Zeck. The choice of TPE is no accident - the material's properties are a natural fit for a goby imitation. Its buoyant nature means the lure always gives the impression of a fish rooting along the bottom, which mirrors the goby's natural behaviour perfectly. The high elasticity and durability of TPE are a clear advantage when fishing for perch and zander. Johannes Dietel was closely involved in development and put the Zeck Finesse Goby through extensive, successful testing.

Versatile on Rigs and Jig Heads

The Zeck Finesse Goby lends itself to a wide range of rigs. As its design is built around slow, bottom-hugging presentation - exactly where gobies spend most of their time - finesse rigs that scratch and drag along the bottom are the ideal match. Texas & Carolina rigs, the Ned rig, and the Cheburashka rig all work well. Generous offset slots and an offset seam along the back make it straightforward to rig weedless on an offset hook. It also fishes convincingly on traditional jig heads, stand up jigs, and skirted jigs.

Once you've located structure, simply hop the Finesse Goby over it with short, sharp jumps and work in pauses - they can make all the difference. If the predators want it even slower, just drag the lure across the bottom. The detailed pectoral and tail fins generate fine vibrations and a subtle action throughout. Be warned, though: bites come hard and fast.

IMPORTANT: TPE lures must not be stored alongside soft plastics made from other materials, as the plasticisers will break down the TPE. Keep them in a dedicated soft plastic box containing only TPE lures, or store them in the original blister packaging.
