Abu Garcia RockSweeper (Spinning)

The Relaunch of a Legendary Rod Series

The Abu Garcia RockSweeper (Spinning) are the spinning rods of this relaunch of the legendary rod series. These rods caused genuine excitement among predator anglers when they first appeared, and the new generation lives up to that reputation. Thanks to perfectly matched components - blank, rings and grip - the result is a rod that delivers a superb feel on the water. Perfectly balanced, it sits comfortably in hand and, owing to its high sensitivity, allows for extremely precise lure presentation. No bite goes unnoticed: even the most tentative touch is transmitted clearly, so you can respond with a fast strike. When playing a fish, the strong backbone provides solid reserves of power - if an unexpected, better fish takes while you're targeting perch, you'll have what it takes to land it. With a broad selection of models, there's a RockSweeper to suit every angler, whether you're after perch, zander or pike.

High-Quality 36T Carbon Blank with Nano-Resin Reinforcement

At the heart of the Abu Garcia RockSweeper Spinning is a light 36T carbon blank, refined using the innovative Powerlux 200 nano-resin technology. The premium 36T carbon-fibre material gives the spinning rod low weight, extremely sensitive feedback, lightning-fast recovery speed and high power reserves. The nano-particles in the resin create a significantly stronger bond between the carbon fibres, meaning less resin is required. This process considerably increases the blank's resistance to breakage and impact without affecting the balance of the rod or adding unnecessary weight.

Perfectly Matched Blank and Components for Maximum Enjoyment on the Water

With the Abu Garcia RockSweeper (Spinning), it's not just the blank that impresses. The remaining components are equally high-quality and contribute to the outstanding overall feel. For the guides, Abu Garcia opted for Fuji K Alconite rings - light, tangle-free, highly durable and perfectly suited to braid. The reel seat is a Fuji VSS B, featuring a curved shape that moulds naturally to the palm of your hand. Combined with the AAA grade cork split grip, it delivers exceptional tactile feedback - ideal conditions for long sessions without fatigue. Everything on the RockSweeper (Spinning) works in harmony, and that's precisely what makes fishing with these rods such a pleasure.
