A Streamer for Spinning and Baitcasting Rods
The Balzer Matzes Spin Streamer is a 17 cm streamer weighing 9 g when dry. Designed to work on spinning rods and even lighter baitcasting rods, it opens up the world of streamer fishing to a far wider range of tackle setups. It fishes effectively all year round - slow and steady in winter, snappy and aggressive in summer. An irresistible proposition for pike.
Maximum Flash and a Twin-Hook System
The body of the Balzer Matzes Spin Streamer is loaded with tinsel that generates an enormous amount of light reflection under water. The plastic head provides the casting weight needed to deliver it comfortably on the rod. A twin-hook system - comprising a size 4/0 and a size 2/0 single hook - keeps bite conversion high and puts more fish on the bank.

Matzes Spin Streamer Fireshark
I think the workmanship and look are great, unfortunately I haven't gotten around to fishing the stremer yet. That won't be until May, when the closed season for pike is over here in Saxony.
