Twitching in Shallow Water
The Balzer Shirasu Twitch Bait SR is a hard lure from the Shirasu hard lure series, available in 3 sizes and designed above all for twitching. Work it with sharp rod twitches and it darts left and right in a pronounced zig-zag action - then, thanks to its suspending properties, it hangs perfectly still in the water column the moment you pause the retrieve. You can also work it with a straight, steady retrieve, and even fished that way it consistently takes perch, asp, zander and more.
The Cast & Balance System
The Balzer Shirasu Twitch Bait SR in the 6.5 cm and 8.5 cm sizes comes equipped with the Cast & Balance System. During the cast, a steel ball inside the lure slides back into the rear chamber and is held in place by a magnet. This delivers extra acceleration and greater stability in flight, sending the lure out like an arrow and allowing for long casting distances. On entry into the water, the ball releases and slides forward into the central chamber, where a second magnet locks it in position for perfect balance during the retrieve.
