Compact Split Ring Pliers with a Cutting Edge
The LMAB Mini Split Ring Pliers measure just 13 cm in length, making them small enough to slip into the tightest pocket of your tackle bag. Designed primarily for opening split rings, they also come with an added feature: a small cutting edge that lets you use them like scissors for line. The serrated cutting surface grips and cleanly cuts through braid as well - something not every pair of scissors can manage. To stop the pliers from opening up in your bag, there's a locking mechanism built directly into the joint. Release it and a spring mechanism opens the jaws automatically. The LMAB Mini Split Ring Pliers feature blue, non-slip grips with an ergonomic shape that gives you a secure hold even with cold hands.

Must-have tool To be honest, I wasn't so convinced of the first visual impression. It doesn't look so high-quality, why can't I even describe it, that was just my feeling. However, the function is 10 out of 10. Snap-ring pliers close super tight, so you can open even the smallest snap rings. The clamping surfaces offer super grip, even super thin, knotable NiTi can be super tightened without slipping through. The blades are so sharp and close so tight that the finest braided pieces can be easily cut without being held in tension. Thanks to the teeth on the scissors, even monofilaments do not slip forward when cutting. The wire cutter cuts the thinnest NiTi easily because the blades pass super close together. If you only have one hand free, the lock is a bit difficult to open because it is not as easy to open, but in principle this does not necessarily have to be a disadvantage. I score 9 out of 10 points in total because of the look and lock. But the pliers are definitely a must-have!

Good pliers for a good course Cut virtually any string and open snap rings as they should be. There is only a small trigger because the fuse is relatively difficult to release. But maybe that also settles in over time and is then easier. Still a recommendation and it doesn't hurt to have a second one.
