Balzer Valhall Sea Spin

Built for Saltwater Adventures

The Balzer Valhall Sea Spin is a range of spinning rods co-developed with German sea angling specialist and author Rainer Korn - a reliable sign that these rods are built with trips to Norway, the Baltic and the Mediterranean firmly in mind. Both variants share the same construction but cover different roles on the water. The foundation is a light, slim blank made from high-modulus carbon, delivering fast action and excellent sensitivity. The tip sections are built from solid carbon to handle the hard fights with powerful saltwater predators. Fuji guides keep your line running cleanly and work in harmony with the blank, while a Fuji reel seat and a slim Duplon grip complete the build. Each rod comes supplied in a neoprene transport sleeve. These rods have everything you need for a saltwater adventure. For a clear overview, here are the two variants and their intended uses.

The Variants at a Glance:

• 20-70 g / 2.65 m: The lighter of the two is well suited for fishing from the bank and from the boat, particularly where longer casts are required. Originally designed for pollack fishing, it also handles pike, flatfish and mackerel with ease. The build combines enough backbone with the sensitivity you need.
• 30-120 g / 2.50 m: This shorter but considerably more powerful variant is built for demanding work - whether that means speed pirking for big coalfish, jigging for cod, or targeting hard-fighting bonito in the Mediterranean. The blank absorbs even the strongest runs without complaint.
