This one-piece powerhouse is more than capable of handling halibut, large cod, ling, coalfish and other sizeable saltwater predators. Exceptional power combined with outstanding responsiveness makes the Westin W6 Boat-T 2nd Baitfish / 1.73 m / 5XH / bis 500 g a serious tool for your saltwater sessions.

Maximum Power Transfer and Full Control with a Spiral Wrap Ring System

The Scandinavian team behind the Westin W6 Boat-T 2nd Baitfish / 1.73 m / 5XH / bis 500 g made no compromises and fitted a Spiral Wrap ring system. This delivers improved stability, maximum power transfer and absolute control - both during the fight and while fishing. The rings are precisely positioned, with the second ring angled slightly in the opposite direction to balance the blank under load. The first ring is elevated to prevent the line from cutting into the fore grip or pressing against your fingers during the fight.

Premium-Level Technical Performance and Components

With its striking red-and-black finish, the W6 Boat-T 2nd Baitfish / 1.73 m / 5XH / bis 500 g makes a visual statement while delivering technical performance at premium level. The advanced blank, built from 30T+T1100 Torayca High Performance Carbon, features a specifically tuned softer tip action that provides first-class bite detection and reliable hooksets with curved hooks, while the backbone retains serious power for uncompromising fights. Fuji PKWSG guides and a Fuji PSSLD20P reel seat ensure clean line management and precise handling under full load. The ergonomically shaped EVA grip is designed for smooth use in rod holders, and the cross-slotted gimbal end cap prevents any twisting during intense fights - rounding off a heavy-duty package built for hunting big saltwater predators.
