The Second Generation of the Rodfather Rod Series

After 1 year of development with countless hours of testing on the water, repeated refinements and serious hard work, the second generation of the LMAB The Rodfather Casting is here. Built on the same principles as its predecessor, only better, these rods are designed to meet the highest quality standards and satisfy the demanding predator angler. The blank starts life as 40T Toray Carbon, cut in the traditional way and rolled under heat onto stainless steel mandrels made exclusively for The Rodfather. After heat treatment in the oven - where the blank gains its strength - the unsanded blank receives an ultra-fine clear-coat finish to protect it from external influences and damage. The high-modulus 40T Toray Carbon delivers excellent sensitivity and the speed needed to react instantly to a bite. A powerful backbone, the result of a reinforced cross-wrap above the handle, provides the authority to set the hook at distance and to play large, hard-fighting fish with confidence.

Clean Design, Thoughtful Features and Quality Components

The LMAB The Rodfather Casting combines understated design with elegance and attention to detail. Thoughtful touches include the Seaguide NHOOK hook keeper, and the choice of components throughout is uncompromising: the guides are Fuji Alconite K-Series rings, which are lightweight, very quiet and optimise casting performance. On models up to 100 g maximum casting weight, the handle is a hand-crafted mono carbon grip that balances the rod perfectly and sits comfortably in the hand. The two heavier models feature a split grip made from EVA and carbon for better handling on long sessions. The LMAB The Rodfather Casting rods are built for long sessions with plenty of fish.

The LMAB The Rodfather Casting is available in 7 models, ranging in length from 1.98 m to 2.40 m:

RF-C662ML
The lightest model in the range, well suited to finesse fishing for perch, but equally at home with small surface lures and twitchbaits for perch, asp and chub. If you enjoy fishing small spinnerbaits and bladed jigs for perch, this rod will not disappoint.

RF-C702M
The all-round rod of the series. It handles the vast majority of lure types with ease - spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, twitchbaits and jerkbaits all fish perfectly on this rod.

RF-C702MH
Developer Enrico Di Ventura particularly enjoys using this rod to target zander along rip-rap in the dark with larger plugs. It also lends itself well to lighter pike fishing on polder waters, where it handles hard lures, spinnerbaits and bladed jigs with equal confidence.

RF-C762H
A medium-heavy rod especially well suited to pike fishing. It covers both polder venues and larger waters, fished from the bank, boat or float tube. The natural choices for pike all work well on this rod: medium-sized shads, a range of hard lures and metal lures such as spinnerbaits.

RF-C762XH
The lightest of the dedicated pike rods. It handles big lures comfortably, and its Moderate Fast action makes it a strong choice for large spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, swimbaits and soft lures.

RF-C782XXH
The middle rod of the pike range. A maximum casting weight of 150 g opens the door to large lures and the first big baits. Whether you're throwing spinnerbaits, swimbaits, soft lures or other oversized offerings, the Moderate Fast action keeps them easy to cast and work.

RF-C802XXXH
The longest and most powerful rod in the Rodfather Casting range. Maximum power for big baits and trophy pike. The heaviest lures past 300 g cast well, and from the moment you cast to the moment you slip the net under a big fish, this rod delivers throughout.

I've been looking for a nice pike rod for a very long time, here I found it in combination with the Schimano Tranx 301 a super dream combo I can recommend to everyone!

Strong rod for pike fishing with larger baits. Paired with a 300 Tatula and the 19kg O-Line, a super combo for lyre larger rubber fish between 18-25 cm depending on the additional weight. Visually speaking, the Rodfather rods are convincing across the board and they can do something else! I'm really satisfied as with all the other Rodfathers

High-quality, elegant, fine Very high-quality rod for casting light baits. Charges very well, even in the lower weight range of 3-5g. It also looks elegant with its fine emblems, from the Rodfather logo to the In Rod We Trust lettering to the LMAB logo at the bottom of the handle:) All in all, a more than successful casting rod!

Very nice and good casting rod I chose the casting version with M rating (7-21g) and am absolutely impressed. I combined the rod with the Shimano SLX DC XT 71. The rod charges nicely both with small crankbaits and rubbers on the Chebu. Absolute purchase recommendation from me!
