Baitcasting Rods Built for Modern Lure Fishing
The Daiwa Tatula (Casting) are baitcasting rods designed specifically for modern lure fishing with hard lures and soft plastics. The action of each model tells you a great deal about where it excels. As a rule, the faster the action, the better the rod suits aggressive lure presentation - think jerkbaits, stickbaits and a range of soft lure techniques. Move towards a more moderate action (Medium Fast), and the rods come into their own with lures that build pressure on a straight retrieve, such as crankbaits, chatterbaits and large soft lures. The range covers a wide spread of applications, from a fine-tipped finesse rod for ultralight work through to a powerful pike rod for jerkbaits and swimbaits in the 15-21 cm class. One special addition is the 4-piece travel rod, which is built to handle a broad variety of medium-weight techniques - an ideal companion when you want to stay versatile on a fishing trip.
Top Technologies for Performance from Cast to Strike, the Fight and Landing
The Daiwa Tatula (Casting) is built on an extremely light and fast SVF carbon blank, refined with X45 technology to deliver high sensitivity, precise casting performance and excellent torsional stability. Fuji Alconite K-guides support the blank's rapid recovery after each cast. The rods are perfectly balanced and feature a V-Joint put-in connection that ensures a smooth, even bend curve throughout the blank. The grip uses a cork split grip design paired with a Daiwa Air Sensor reel seat made from carbon composite - keeping weight to a minimum while delivering excellent handling comfort.
