Bassday Mogul Minnow 66SP Dart

Bassday is a Japanese hard lure manufacturer with an excellent reputation for quality at a sensible price point.

The Smallest Twitchbait in the Series

At 6.6 cm and 5 g, the Bassday Mogul Minnow 66SP Dart is the smallest entry in the Mogul Minnow range - but don't let the size fool you. It is, first and foremost, an outstanding twitchbait for perch and trout. What sets it apart is that it doesn't only shine when worked with sharp twitches; it also performs superbly on a steady retrieve, which makes it a natural choice when fishing streams for trout. The Mogul Minnow 66SP Dart tracks with impressive stability even in strong current, and anything that works on trout and chub in a stream will bring big asp in a river. In high summer, when predators are keyed in on small baitfish, it also becomes a genuinely interesting option for night zander sessions. Retrieved slowly or twitched subtly along rock walls and riprap, it produces solid zander with surprising regularity. Pike turn up as bycatch often enough that you should always be prepared for them.

The Bassday Mogul Minnow 66SP Dart is a suspending plug that hangs perfectly on the pause and quivers enticingly in place - a trigger that very few predators can ignore. Its internal rattle gives it a distinct sound profile that provokes reaction strikes. To help you reach fish holding at range - asp in particular - the lure features the MZ-19 Tungsten weight-transfer system inside the body, delivering exceptional casting distance without sacrificing accuracy. Versatile, compact and highly effective through the summer months, this is a small lure fully capable of producing big fish.
