The BFT Lizzard X LXS91-2 by Evert Oostdam is a 277 cm spinning rod with a casting weight of 10-40 g. The extra length makes it ideal for bank fishing, where it excels in fresh water primarily for perch and zander. It handles medium-sized soft plastics and hard lures with ease. In salt water, it is particularly well suited for sea bass and sea trout, and is a strong choice when wading along the coast where maximum casting distance matters. The rod is built on a high-modulus carbon blank with fast action and a cross-carbon wrapping for extra power and durability. Feedback is exceptional - even the most tentative contact comes through clearly. The Alps titanium guides with ceramic inserts support casting performance in both accuracy and distance. The slim, almost minimalist split grip features a short but refined shrink-tube rear section and is fitted with a lightweight, elegant carbon reel seat at the front. The BFT Lizzard X LXS81-2 by Evert Oostdam is slightly shorter at 247 cm but offers considerably more power with a maximum casting weight of 70 g. This rod is built for fishing medium-heavy soft lures, swimbaits and hybrid lures such as the Miuras Mouse Mini. It is ideal for pike and large zander, bringing even hard-fighting fish under control quickly and safely. It features an extremely responsive blank made from high-modulus carbon with a cross-carbon wrapping applied from tip to butt before lacquering, increasing both power and durability. Like its sibling, it is fitted with Alps titanium guides with ceramic inserts and a high-quality, lightweight yet strong carbon reel seat. The slim grip design is completed by a shrink-tube end cap, giving the rod a clean, cohesive look.
