Bite of Bleak The Pope

The Pope of Perch Soft Lures

The Bite of Bleak The Pope is a compact soft lure designed to imitate a ruffe, both in shape and, in part, in colour. It features a fuller, more voluminous body with well-defined fins and a large paddle tail on a slender tail stem. The body produces a rolling action while the paddle tail flutters wildly, generating extra turbulence in the water. That combination makes The Pope an excellent choice for jigging for perch - particularly on hard-fished waters where other lures have already drawn a blank. You can also mount it on an offset hook across a range of rigs: a dedicated belly recess and split dorsal fins allow for a clean, trouble-free setup, so you can target perch with a more finesse-oriented approach.
