Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Spinning)

The Legendary Black Pearl in Its MAXX Version

The Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Spinning) represents the spinning rod range within this long-established series. The MAXX version brings together a wide selection of light, fast rods - from dedicated specialist tools for specific lure fishing disciplines to versatile all-rounders that cover a broad range of situations. Every rod in the range is built on a fast action blank made from tough, Japanese high-performance carbon, combining sensitive bite detection with a stiff backbone that gives you the power to set the hook firmly, control the fight, and cast with confidence.

Quality Components for a Strong Price-to-Performance Ratio

The Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Spinning) is fitted with sturdy, lightweight SiC rings, sized individually to suit each rod's specific build and matched carefully to the blank. Just above the grip, Sportex has fitted the Seaguide D-Hook keeper - a component you'll find across other Sportex rod ranges too. It's solidly built, accepts virtually any hook size thanks to its large eye, and is positioned so it stays completely out of the way when you're fingering the blank during a retrieve. The handle is a robust EVA split Duplon grip paired with a TVS-style reel seat that locks a fixed spool reel securely in place. The Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Spinning) has been deliberately designed to offer well-chosen quality components that deliver a strong price-to-performance ratio.
