Rod Bags with Rucksack Function

The Sportex SUPER-SAFE rod bags combine solid rod protection with the convenience of a rucksack. Two padded shoulder straps let you carry the bag on your back, keeping your hands free on the way to the water. A flexible, built-in inner shell made from PVC protects your rods against impacts, while the outer skin is made from water-resistant, abrasion-resistant 1680D nylon. At the bottom, a reinforced plastic shell provides extra protection against wear when you stand the bag upright. Running the full length of the bag, a high-quality, corrosion-resistant zip gives you quick and easy access to your rods. True to its name, the Sportex SUPER-SAFE delivers exactly what it promises: reliable protection for your rods.

The Right Bag for Every Need

The Sportex SUPER-SAFE range includes several variants to suit different requirements, varying in the number of rod compartments and in length. Single-compartment variants hold one assembled rod, while two-compartment variants feature a padded internal divider and accommodate 2 assembled rods. Both versions are fitted with elastic straps inside to secure the rods. When choosing the right length, bear in mind that the stated measurement is the external length of the bag. For safe and snug storage, your rod's transport length should be no more than the external bag length minus 10 cm - that way the rods fit perfectly and are protected against compression. The two-compartment variants also feature an additional outer pocket, ideal for storing a landing net or other accessories.
