Ten years after the release of the first Bullseye Jig Whip, Bullseye marks the anniversary with the X-Series - a range built around maximum performance from this Swiss premium manufacturer. The focus is on the latest technological developments and the most advanced materials, combined with elegant design to produce rods with outstanding functionality.

The Max Diatap Concept

At the heart of the Bullseye X-Series rods lies the Max Diatap Concept, developed by Bullseye specifically for this range. Taking the original meaning of a fast rating - which refers to the taper angle of the blank - and pushing that taper to its absolute limit, the result is a blank with excellent geometry: slightly wider in diameter at the handle section and tapering continuously to the tip. Toray and Fuji Components Throughout

The composite blank of the Bullseye X-Series combines T1100 Carbon with nanometre resins. Multiple layers of high-grade Toray prepregs are rolled radially around the mandrel in a fan-like arrangement, producing a thin-walled blank with exceptional performance. The result is an incredibly harmonious action with a very progressive power build-up - from the cast through lure presentation, bite detection, the fight and landing. The handle section is additionally reinforced with 4x mesh for extra robustness, and every blank is statically tested for load capacity before it passes to the next stage.
