Hybrid Ring Setup and Blank Working in Perfect Harmony

To get the most out of the Daiwa Airity Hybrid Spin, Daiwa went with a hybrid ring configuration. The butt ring and the two rings immediately above it are Fuji SiC K-guides - a tried-and-tested choice. All remaining rings are Daiwa's exclusive AGS Carbon guides, which are around 40% lighter than standard SiC guides in metal frames of the same size. That weight saving has a direct positive effect on the rod's action: the tips of the SVF Nanoplus blanks respond extremely quickly and settle without oscillation. Beyond that, these guides transmit every vibration and movement directly and without delay through the blank and into your hand, giving you a level of sensitivity that is genuinely hard to match.

Performance and Looks in Equal Measure

Daiwa built the Airity Hybrid Spin around an SVF Nanoplus blank refined further by the X45X carbon construction. Applied to the blank surface, this technology makes the rod extremely resistant to torsion and improves compression under load, keeping the rod stable when you're working larger lures or fighting big predators. As a bonus, it also gives the rod a distinctive carbon finish that looks the part. The V-Joint Alpha spigot connection delivers a more consistent bend curve and increased load capacity, and is likewise treated with Nanoplus technology. Every model in the Daiwa Airity Hybrid Spin range features a fast, crisp tip action - ideal for converting bites at distance.

Well-Appointed Handle Section with Good Balance

The Daiwa Airity Hybrid Spin comes fitted with a Daiwa Air Sensor reel seat made from carbon composite - comfortable in the hand, light and robust in equal measure. It sits within a split-grip handle combining AAA-grade cork and EVA, reflecting the hybrid concept Daiwa has applied throughout the rod. On all models from 2.40 m upwards, a balance weight is bonded into the handle to ensure good balance across the whole rod. Every Daiwa Airity Hybrid Spin is supplied in a high-quality padded rod bag to protect it on the way to the water.
